Where the Supreme Story begins…
The Supreme Roasters journey begins with owner Roger Bright, whose caffeine infused transcendence into the wholesale roasting industry started in sunny North Queensland.
It was during Roger’s experience in working for, managing and owning cafes, that he noticed a genuine lack of sincerity, integrity and transparency within the wholesale coffee industry. Roger had become increasingly aware of the fact that coffee roasters were lacking in three very key areas; quality, service and support. These key promises not being delivered upon had a very real effect on the businesses he worked in and owned, and Roger believed it was time that this gap in the market is filled.
It is that pivotal realisation and the desire to evoke a change into the wholesale coffee industry which led to the creation of Supreme Roasters; and the creation of a roaster who also desired to put heart and soul into every cup of coffee. It wasn’t a smooth road for Roger; working seven days a week and at one stage having to sleep on a concrete floor at his factory just to make ends meet, but this didn’t deter him from achieving his goal to fill a void in the wholesale coffee industry. Thanks to Roger and his team’s unique approach to providing outstanding service and quality, Supreme Roasters has flourished into the successful business that it is today.

With a close knit and innovative team of staff supporting the everyday function of the business, Supreme Roasters is able to offer its cafe clients a holistic approach to wholesale coffee. Supreme Roasters is operated with the core principals of integrity, partnerships and sustainability.
It is an essential belief that cafes that join the Supreme Roasters family are brought through their own unique coffee journey by experiencing the amazing coffee we offer in all its forms so that they are able to believe in the quality and taste of our product, and understand exactly what is involved from plantation to cup.
It is important that at Supreme Roasters our focus is on being a predominantly wholesale business only. We remain an outwardly facing business with focus and measure of our success on the cafe we supply to, not our own retail success. It gives us great joy to see our cafe partners achieve massive success in an otherwise noisy and crowded marketplace.

Supreme Roasters takes immense pride in its beginnings in Queensland and being owned and operated as a purely Queensland- centric business. We are often asked why we focus on the one state and the answer to us is very simple; we know how to make coffee that Queenslanders like to drink and are proud to be a locally based business. Unlike the Melbourne & Sydney roasting mentality, our focus is on the Queensland palette and bringing a local pride factor to our home state with award winning blends, local support and service.

Supreme Roasters have been honoured to be awarded several titles from the Golden Bean Awards over the past few years as well as winning the medal tally two years running, giving us the distinction of being the Golden Bean’s most awarded Queensland roastery. We feel it is a testament to the heart and soul mentality used in roasting our blends and that hard work and a whole lot of love has come through in the results!
